Health Canada is warning Canadians about counterfeit laser hair removal machines and therapy systems sold under the Soprano brand to clinics across Canada. The counterfeit devices — manufactured by Beijing Perfectlaser Technology Co., Ltd. — were sold using a falsified medical device licence and have not been assessed for safety or effectiveness.
